Faithful For Forty-Four Years

There are thousands of pictures of flowers, family and fun things that I could have chosen and many are better pictures, but this is my favorite.

End of February 2011

It is February 22 and the year is 2011.  Last week all the snow melted and showed us that the daffodills were beginning to come through their long hibernation.  There was even a tiny purple bud on one of my primroses.  That was last week.  Today we woke to this:

This was taken on the deck.  I have yet to open and door to venture out.

Looking out to the area of the pond:

It is 19 degrees and we do have someplace to be at 1:00.  Do we venture out??  At this moment, I say no, but who knows.
